DIFFERENT FUTURES FOR OUR FOUR GRADUATES

Sitting amongst our staff and children, smiles began to spread across faces as our four graduates walked down the middle of the pavillion area. All dressed in their togas and graduation hats, they looked so grown up. We are so proud of each of these young people. They have each taken advantage of the opportunities given. They have been determined to do their best, and they have cheered each other on.

As we celebrated our four high school graduates last Friday, there was a sense of deep gratitude for each of our partners who had made on-site schooling a reality within La Casa. The individualized attention and strong curriculum offered to the students made a difference in their lives. In a country where the highest education level attained is 5th grade for those in living in rural areas and 7th grade for those living in urban areas, these young people have accomplished much more.

Each of the graduates have already obtained admission to a university. Oscar will be studying business administration; Rut and Esperanza will be pursuing their dreams of becoming doctors and Daniela will be studying Social Work, wanting to give back to others who are having to walk a similar road as she in life.

We hope this news brings a smile on your face. Thanks to each of you who give so that others may have opportunities that truly change their futures. Join us in praying for each graduate. May God grant them continued opportunities to become who He has created them to be!
