FAMILIES SERVING TOGETHER

This past week, we partnered with a team from GlobalX in Atlanta, GA for a time of sharing and learning together. What made this team unique was its makeup of fathers, mothers and adolescents on a mission to serve together . . . and that they did!

Our summer project has been working on a road on the side of the farm where the stables are located. Teams have helped dig the trenches and refill with a mixture of concrete and dirt. However, the paving bricks finally arrived, so this team worked to move the bricks up the hill and place them so that the brick layers could have easier access to them. They also helped to begin putting a cost of primer on the newly constructed building at the top of the hill. Progress was made on both projects!

But working on a project is only a small part of the week. Times to talk and learn about our ministry and the culture here in El Salvador, visit our neighbors, and play with the children each day makes for a full week. Our children especially enjoyed the soccer games and all the crafts that were shared.
