A HEART THAT SERVED WELL: THANK YOU, JOSUE
Summer is always one of the busiest seasons at La Casa. This year, we welcomed more than 130 team members who came ready to serve, learn, and partner with us in the ministry. While projects are certainly an important part of their visit, our greatest hope is that each person leaves with a deeper understanding of God’s work here in El Salvador. Seeing how He is moving in different parts of the world broadens our perspective and reminds us just how great our God truly is.
Hosting teams well takes a great deal of planning, flexibility, and behind-the-scenes work. Over the past few years, we have been blessed by young adults who have stepped into that role.
This summer, Josue faithfully filled that role.
From coordinating many of the logistics to spending long days—and often evenings—with our teams, Josue served with remarkable joy and humility. He anticipated needs before they arose, welcomed people with genuine kindness, and answered thousand of questions. His willingness to quietly serve behind the scenes allowed the rest of our staff to remain focused on their daily responsibilities while building relationships with those who came to serve alongside us.
If you were part of a team this summer, you likely experienced his servant’s heart firsthand. Josue, thank you for faithfully serving our ministry, our teams, and ultimately our Savior. Your investment has left a lasting impact, and we are grateful for the season we had the privilege of serving alongside you.
